Hester M. Peirce¶

Hester M. Peirce is a Commissioner at United States Securities and Exchange Commission. Hester was appointed by President Donald Trump to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and was sworn in on January 11, 2018. Before SEC, Hester was a Senior Counsel on the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.

Hester's expressed opinions are broadly pro-crypto and is widely referred to in the media as "Crypto Mom".
